Eric DeShazer, Chief Dental Officer
General Dentistry
Education: University of Kansas, Emporia State University, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry
Dr. DeShazer was raised in Hutchinson, KS. He spent many years in private practice and as an independent contract dentist with the U.S. Army. Dr. DeShazer is excited to lead and support the dental services to provide quality care to the patients of GraceMed. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, playing pinball, and fishing with his family.
Dana Knox, APRN
Family Practice
Education: Maryville University
Dana has a well-rounded ICU background as an RN at Via Christi and other hospitals in Kansas. She comes to GraceMed after spending the last couple of years treating COVID patients and complex chronic conditions. Dana enjoys primary care because of the long-term relationships she can form with patients and their family members. When Dana is not working, she spends most of her time with her husband and two sons who play in a baseball league.
Amanda Abasolo, APRN
Education: Newman University, Wichita State University
Amanda has spent 19 years working in healthcare. She believes in building a rapport with patients by listening and supporting them in their healthcare needs. She’s a strong patient advocate and leads with her kindness , her knowledge, and love of the profession. Amanda strongly believes in the mission of GraceMed. Her roots are in Kansas and she is passionate about family. Amanda understands that life can be difficult at times and healthcare outcomes can play an intricate role in a patient’s happiness and overall wellbeing. That’s a responsibility Amanda doesn’t take lightly, she serves with compassion, integrity and a high standard of professionalism.
